The Friends of the Library is a dedicated group of volunteers that support a specific library in the LA County Library System. They organize book sales and community events to raise funds to support library programing and help promote special events and programs at the library.

The LA County Library Foundation, founded in 1982, is a registered 501c3 nonprofit organization that raises funds and creates partnerships to strengthen and support LA County Library and the free programs, services and resources it provides to enrich the lives and communities of children, teens, and adults throughout the 85 LA County Libraries that serve our LA County communities.
